Seasoned leaders at the forefront of their fields, our instructors offer more than guidance, they provide unparalleled access to world-class experience and expertise.

  • Born and raised in Israel, Nadav honed his skills guiding climbing, mountaineering, and canyoneering throughout the region before transitioning to the US.

    His journey includes serving in an elite IDF unit, teaching and training rescue and military special ops teams, alongside industrial rope access and rigging instruction. Nadav's commitment to exploration led him to discover new climbing territories in Jordan, culminating in the authorship of a guidebook for Moab, Jordan.

    In the US, Nadav has instructed climbing, mountaineering, skiing, and rope rescue rigging across the mountain west and Alaska. He thrives on problem-solving, applying a first-principles mindset and innovative thinking to his work.

    Nadav holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering, multiple AMGA guide certifications, and is a Wilderness EMT.

    With a global climbing portfolio that spans the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America, Nadav currently calls Bozeman, Montana home.

  • An eternal optimist, Jake loves sharing the adventures of the world with others. He has over 20 years of experience as a mountain and ski guide, working in Patagonia, Iceland, Nepal, India, and all over the North American West.

    He brings a wealth of knowledge from over 15 years as a wilderness medicine instructor, overseeing multiple outdoor, disaster relief, and non-profit programs. In addition to training military and government special units, he has served as the NOLS Wilderness EMT Lead Instructor and Program Manager.

    Jake holds a BA in Exercise Science and Spanish, a Master of Public Health, Wilderness EMT, and multiple guide/instructor certifications.

    When not instructing, you can find Jake woodworking, gardening, farming, skiing, biking, or paddling. His favorite role is sharing outdoor adventures with his son Finn and wife, Courtney. Jake and his family currently make their home in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

  • A current Air Force Pararescue Team Leader, Ryan has over 15 years of special operations experience with multiple combat deployments to Afghanistan, Iraq, and other conflict areas. He has led elite teams worldwide, performing technical rescue and training international units.

    In addition to his military career, Ryan has extensive experience in international disaster relief and remote medicine. He has served as a Medical Humanitarian Aid program manager and Disaster Response Specialist, working in Africa, South America, the Caribbean, and domestically to aid vulnerable populations.

    Ryan is passionate about sharing his expertise and instructs non-profit organizations in emergency medicine and crisis management. He also leads groups on outdoor adventure camps and instructs and evaluates special operations candidates.

    He holds a BS in Psychology, a Masters in Business Administration, and is a registered Paramedic and Wilderness Medicine instructor, along with several other outdoor certifications.

  • A passionate outdoorsman and instructor, Travin is a Navy veteran with 10 years of service.

    The epitome of chasing your dreams, Travin turned his love of surfing, climbing, and skiing into a professional career. He has been guiding and instructing for over four years. Whether through hiking the Appalachian Trail, chasing the best snow to ski or ice to climb, he is constantly pushing himself and others in the outdoors.

    Travin is a Wilderness First Responder and holds multiple AMGA and outdoor guide certifications.
